40 Dollar Fine is raucous roots rock, alt country, with a tablespoon of '60's rock 'n' soul and a pinch of the blues. Now in their 10th year, the band runs like a well-tuned V-8 engine. They come from diverse backgrounds, with lengthy resumés in the local DC music scene, and possess a fanatical dedication to serious groove, strong 3 and 4 part vocals and a commitment to communicating with their audience.
