St. Patrick's Day Concert With Celtic Roots Band Runa

Irish Music Award-winning group Runa shakes up traditional music from the past to make their own signature contemporary Celtic sound. They'll celebrate both the new and the old in their St. Patrick's Day concert at Laurel, Md.'s Montpelier Arts Center. The members of Runa draw on their diverse backgrounds -- Ireland, Scotland, Canada, and the U.S. -- to make their highly energetic and graceful acoustic melodies. Just in time for the Feast of Saint Patrick, you'll get a gander at the band's authentic step-dancing and hear Old World instruments like uilleann pipes, the bodhrán and the mandolin.
