About Comedian J. Anthony Brown

J. Anthony Brown ("Tom Joyner Morning Show") at the Baltimore Comedy Factory

One of the original comedians of black comedy, J. Anthony Brown, is finally getting the credits he deserves. A winner of the Peabody Award and the NAACP Image Award, Brown got his first Hollywood job as a staff writer for "The Arsenio Hall Show", and has been seen on HBO's "Def Comedy Jam", "The Parkers" and "Showtime at the Apollo". He is a veteran of Atlanta's stand-up comedy scene, and he's gained a national following for his zany sense of humor as well as his catchphrase, "Watch out deh now!" For the last nine years, Brown has been a staple on the nationally syndicated "Tom Joyner Morning Show", but he's taking a break from radio for this special appearance at the Baltimore Comedy Factory.
