About Gaithersburg Book Festival

The Gaithersburg Book Festival is an annual celebration of great books and great writing that has made its mark as one of the nation’s top literary events. More than 100 featured best-selling and award-winning authors – including Diane Rehm, Eric Ripert, Mary Kay Andrews, Roger Rosenblatt, John Feinstein, CeCe Bell, Gennifer Choldenko, John Parra, Aaron Reynolds, David Lubar and more – will participate in panel discussions and book signings at the festival on May 21, 2016. Other activities include free, interactive writing workshops, a Children’s Village, announcement of short story contest winners, literary exhibitors, onsite book sales by Politics & Prose. Admission, parking and accessible shuttle buses from Shady Grove Metro and Lakeforest Mall are FREE.
