About "Hay Fever"

Dysfunctional Family Comedy "Hay Fever"

Sometimes having a relaxing family vacation means going without the family. For novelist David Bliss and his wife and retired actress Judith Bliss, going to the country for the weekend would be the perfect getaway to entertain guests. However they find their quiet weekend disrupted when their two high-spirited bohemian children crash the party. As the rambunctious Blisses indulge their artistic eccentricities in a hilarious whirlwind of flirtation and histrionics, the guests begin to wonder if they'll be able to survive the weekend. Based on Noël Coward's hilarious comedy of bad manners, "Hay Fever" cleverly brings out all the fun in dysfunctional at Olney Theatre's Mainstage.
