About Hermitage Piano Trio

Hermitage Piano Trio Plays All-Russian Program at Horowitz Center's Smith Theatre

A rarity in the world of chamber music, the Hermitage Piano Trio features three noted soloists performing together as an elite and exciting ensemble. With a nod to the great Russian musical tradition, the Hermitage Piano Trio is comprised of three up-and-coming Russian musicians -- violinist Misha Keylin, cellist Sergey Antonov and pianist Maxim Mogilevsky -- who are now based in the United States. The group, which has played to critical and popular acclaim across the country, will perform an all-Russian program for this appearance at Horowitz Center's Smith Theatre, including Shostakovich's "Trio No. 1 in C minor, Op. 8", Arensky's "Trio No. 1 in D minor, Op. 32" and Rachmaninoff's "Trio No. 2 in D minor, Op. 9".
