With an irresistible vocal delivery and a knack for romantic ballads, including hits "Show Me" and "Stay," Howard Hewett is one of the smoothest singers performing today. Along with Jody Watley and Jeffrey Daniel, Hewett helped propel the vocal trio Shalamar to success with a string of hit songs including "The Second Time Around" and "I Can Make You Feel Good." Hewett launched his solo career in the mid-'80s with the chart-topper "I'm for Real," followed by "I Commit to Love," "Strange Relationship" and "Once, Twice, Three Times."
