ICE performs the work of Anna Thorvaldsdottir

The Phillips Collection presents a concert of the works of acclaimed Icelandic composer Anna Thorvaldsdottir, performed by the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE) as part of the Leading International Composers series. ICE has championed many of Anna's works, including In the Light of Air, which was released on Sono Luminus last year and earned a place on "Best of 2015" lists by The New York Times, The New Yorker, Boston Globe, The Chicago Reader, and NPR Music's 50 Favorite Albums across all genres. The program includes movements from Hidden, Transitions, Scape, Shades of Silence, Trajectories, and Ro. This concert is presented in collaboration with the Embassy of Iceland in Washington, DC.
