Drawing inspiration from the art of mime, Happenstance Theater's brilliantly choreographed movements create a kind of visual poetry. At once funny and lyrical, "Impossible! A Happenstance Circus" is a kaleidoscopic homage to classic circus characters and images of the '30s and '40s, a theatrical collage set against a backdrop of hard times.
