The Dan Meyer Choir's "Love Songs of the Presidents"

Whether it's Valentine's weekend or not, "romance" is rarely the first word that comes to mind when thinking of the U.S. Presidents -- even when it comes to Kennedy and Clinton. But the clever vocal ensemble known as the Dan Meyer Choir has somehow managed to amass a collection of love poems written by former chief executives like Washington, Adams, Jefferson and Lincoln, not to mention Harding, Hoover, George W. and more, and set them to Meyer's four-part music. This Baltimore vocal ensemble is known for its performances in unique venues, from tall ships to barber shops and beyond, but they're bringing their latest original concert to the Maryland Ensemble Theatre in Frederick.
