About Micah, Amanda Lee, Jen Miller, Jeff Waters

Micah's music is a touch of folk mixed with some soul and topped off with a little bit of heartbreak. The last 3 years have brought him coast to coast and back again playing clubs, colleges, living rooms and everything in between. With his strong affinity for bacon and flannel, some have deemed him the Ron Swanson of singer-songwriters. Picture the soulful powerhouse vocals of John Legend behind a guitar with a laid back style like Ray LaMontagne. Micah is a new buzz artist not to be missed. Born in Towson, MD and raised in Northern VA, Amanda Lee has minimal experience beyond the east coast realm of life. Her aching and yearning for more is apparent in her music and may just be the drive that takes her to far places.

Amanda was the 1st place winner of the KBN’s Talent Competition in 2002, where she met her bass player (now bandmate/husband), placed 2nd in the first annual Kollabortion DC competition in 2010, has played in notable venues in the Washington DC and Northern VA area (The Hamilton Live, The Howard Theatre, Jammin Java, Gibson Guitar Showroom, Iota Club & Cafe), and her YouTube videos have accumulated over half a million views.

With the ambition of wanting to put her music in people’s hands, Lee partnered with Pledge Music to campaign the funding of her first EP. With much success, her fans prevailed and thus Lee started recording with Kevin Gutierrez at Assembly Line Studios in Vienna, VA. Lee co-produced the album with Gutierrez and her bass player, Posido Vega. The album was released digitally in April 2011 and is available on iTunes, Amazon.com, CDbaby.com, and Bandcamp.
