Pitch-perfect vocal ensembles from Canada, Australia, Phoenix and L.A. raise the roof at this "Serenade! Choral Festival" concert at Frederick's All Saints Episcopal Church. Now in its fifth year, this prestigious gathering has hosted 42 choirs from 20 countries for an international celebration of song. This particular performance stars the award-winning Los Angeles Children's Chorus, one of the world's top young choirs, with appearances on "The Tonight Show", PBS and at storied venues like the Hollywood Bowl, not to mention all over the globe. Canada's Polonia Choir Society of Edmonton, a mixed a cappella group, specializes in Eastern European and Polish folk and classical music, and Australia's Women of Note features 50 female members who perform everything from classical and traditional works to pop favorites. The award-winning Phoenix Girls Chorus has appeared across the globe with their wide-ranging repertoire, which stretches from classical, sacred and folk to Broadway favorites.
