The Project, composed of Singer and Lead Guitarist Carter Louthian, Bassist Curtis Barnes, Guitarist Sam Whetzel, and Drummer Ben Riggs is a straight no chaser Rock n' Roll band out of Vienna, Virginia whose wide variety of influences (NeedToBreathe, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Jack White) help create an original sound and comes with a high energy, honest live performance that is Rock n' Roll from start to finish. Irresponsible is an Alt Rock band based out of DC whose hard work has landed them headlining shows at such venues as the 9:30 Club, Jammin Java, and other venues in the VA/DC/MD area. The band draws inspiration from rock legends and local musicians alike, always ready to grow and evolve. Formed in 2007, Irresponsible consists of Ryan Paladino (guitar/vox), TJ Rogers (drums), and Michael Snodgrass (bass). The band’s first album, Life | Art | Love, was released in May 2010, and its follow-up, Madam Maggie’s House for Wayward Boys, was released in July 2011. On the new album, the band merges influences like indie rock and reggae with Irresponsible's signature alt rock style, all the while telling a story about the house they live in -- Madam Maggie's. YUM. is an indie rock/pop band based in Northern Virginia consisting of songwriter and guitarist Jon Flanders, bassist Robert Mays and drummer Nathan Read. With influences like The Cure, The Smiths, Joy Division, and Mac DeMarco, YUM. has a surf-rock sound that will send you floating on a dark dreamy cloud. YUM. has played local venues such as Jammin Java, IOTA, Epicure Cafe, and 9:30 Club.
