The Trongone Band

The Trongone band is a music lover's band. They live in the space that rests between the tension of the familiar and the truly distinct. At its core, the family unit portion of the band, brothers Johnny and Andrew and papa John Trongone, who give the band its name, lay the foundation, the natural cohesion that comes with an intimate familial bond. Similarly their choice of Rock and Americana covers connects with the listener at primal, yet comforting level. What sets this group apart is the inclusion of a diverse and district accompaniment. Mark Ingraham a local legend, who plays with hallmark groups like the D.J. Williams Projekt, musical prodigy Matt Zavitz, and Ben "Wolf" White from the Former Champions, all lend their respective and unique talents that make up this truly awesome powerhouse.


The groove/rock sextet, Pleasure Train, is a Northern Virginia based band that uniquely blends elements of soul, jam, and house to create a danceable live atmosphere turning each show they play into a party.
