Guitarist and singer/songwriter Willy Porter has been turning first time listeners into die-hard fans for more than two decades. He and singing partner, Carmen Nickerson, bring their brand of righteous indie-folk for a night of high-test tunes and tons of fun. Willy’s signature finger-picking guitar work and rich songwriting creates a one-of-a-kind musical ride that has energized audiences all over the world from stages shared with icons such as Jethro Tull, Tori Amos, Paul Simon, and Jeff Beck.

Carmen Nickerson’s soulful vocals and playful singing style pairs exquisitely with Willy’s grooves to produce soaring harmonies that add fresh layers and new depth to Willy’s songs.

The duo is touring in support of Willy’s new record, Human Kindness (2015), his most sophisticated production to date. Human Kindness combines Willy’s acoustic, electric, and multi-string chops to bear on a stunning group of songs that explore themes about connection, compassion, and the triumphs and struggles of the human journey. From the Who-influenced anthem “Freedom” to the lighter than air love song “Roses in the Rain” to the powerful wake-up call of the title track, “Human Kindness,” this record is a full musical experience.
