About Tiny Rhymes, This is a FREE show in our Vinyl Lounge No Tickets required

Since coming together as a band, Tiny Rhymes has received overwhelming support from the Buffalo music community and beyond. Self-categorized as "chamber-folk," the fanciful and melancholy content of their songs can either evoke imagery from an era long past or commiserate with the listener over failed romance. They have won battles of the bands, performed beside Buffalo music legends, and are sought after for festivals and tours across the United States. Tiny Rhymes recently spent two days recording an EP at GCR Audio, and have decided to title this work "The Cape" after their rollicking tune of the same name, which features Dan Schwach on his infamous washboard. "Oh, Amaranta!" can also be heard on this debut album, in which Kathryn Koch's violin solo is technically impeccable and emotionally riveting. Above all, it is apparent through their music how much Tiny Rhymes loves to play together both as musicians and friends. If their reception in their short time together can be any indication of future success, Tiny Rhymes is definitely a folk band to be reckoned with.
